Billing and trials

How the 14-day trial, the Team plan, user counts, failed payments, and locked organisations work, and how an Owner subscribes or manages billing.

OwnerAdminMember

Each organisation is billed on its own. If you own two organisations, each one has its own trial and its own subscription.

The free trial

A new organisation gets a 14-day free trial. You don’t need a credit card to start it. Owners see a reminder banner during the last 7 days.

When the trial ends without a subscription, the organisation is locked straight away.

The Team plan

The Team plan costs $19 a month for up to 10 users, then $2 a month for each extra user.

Users Monthly price
5 $19
10 $19
15 $29
25 $49

Users are the active members of the organisation, including Owners and Admins. Someone you invite starts counting when they accept. Pending invitations and AI agents never count.

When the number of users changes, the next invoice is adjusted for the part of the month that’s left. To lower the bill, remove people on the People page.

Subscribe

Only Owners can subscribe.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. In the Billing card, select Subscribe.
  3. Enter your billing address, your VAT or tax ID if you have one, and your card on the Stripe checkout page. If you have a promotion code, enter it there too.

If you subscribe during the trial, you keep the rest of the trial. The first charge happens when the trial would have ended. With less than about two days of trial left, the first charge happens right away.

Manage billing

Owners can select Manage billing in the Billing card to update the card, download invoices, change the billing address, or cancel. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Admins and Members see billing banners but can’t change billing. Ask an Owner.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, the organisation keeps working for 14 days while the payment is retried. Everyone sees a banner, and Owners get a link to update the card.

If the payment still hasn’t gone through after 14 days, the subscription is cancelled and the organisation is locked.

Locked organisations

A locked organisation can’t browse, upload, download, or share files, and its AI agents stop working. Owners and Admins can still:

  • open Settings to subscribe or manage billing (Owners only)
  • open People to remove members and cancel invitations

Nothing is deleted. Your files stay in your own storage, and quickS3 keeps your connections, roles, members, and audit log. Everything unlocks as soon as the subscription is active again.

Everyone can still switch to another organisation or sign out.
