Recover or reset a password
Set a new password from a one-time email link, or skip passwords altogether and sign in by email instead. Reset links last 30 minutes.
If you only need to get in, you don’t have to reset anything. On the sign-in page, keep the Email link tab and select Send magic link. quickS3 emails you a link that signs you in.
To set a new password:
- On the sign-in page, select the Password tab, then Forgot password?
- Enter your email address and send the request.
- Open the reset email within 30 minutes and select the link.
- Enter a new password (10 to 128 characters; common passwords are refused) and confirm it.
- Sign in with the new password.
The confirmation screen in step 2 looks the same whether or not an account exists for that address. That’s deliberate, so nobody can use the form to find out who has an account.
What a reset changes
Your other browsers are signed out. AI clients you’ve connected keep their access, and any share links you created keep working until they expire. If you’re resetting because you think someone else got into your account, revoke your AI clients too and ask an Owner or Admin to check the audit log.
If the link doesn’t work
A reset link works once and expires after 30 minutes. If it says the link is invalid or expired, select Request a new reset link and use the newest email.
No email after a few minutes? Check your spam folder and the spelling of the address.
