Create an account and verify your email

If a teammate invited you, start from the link in the invitation email and use the address it was sent to. Otherwise, go to quicks3.com/login.

The quickest way to get an account is to sign in. Use Send magic link or the Google button, and quickS3 creates your account the first time. You don’t need a password unless you want one.

Sign up with a password

1. On the sign-in page, select Create account.
2. Enter your email address and a password of 10 to 128 characters. Spaces are fine, and common passwords are refused.
3. Type the password again to confirm it, and submit.
4. Open the verification email and select the link within 24 hours.
5. Sign in with your email and password.

The account only becomes active once you’ve verified the address. Password resets, invitations, and email links all go to it, so it has to be one you can read.

What you get

Every new account comes with its own organisation, named after your email address, with you as its Owner. It’s empty until you connect storage.

If you joined through an invitation, your team’s organisation appears in the switcher at the top right as well. That’s where the files you were invited to are.

If something goes wrong

• No verification email. Check spam and the spelling of your address. The verification page has a Need a new link? section: enter your email and select Resend verification. Only the newest link works.
• The link has expired. Request a new one the same way.
• You got an email about a sign-up attempt instead of a verification link. That address already has an account, so quickS3 sent a link to reset its password. Sign in with an email link, or reset the password.
